FR — Retrieve form

Recalls a form from printer memory by name; names are case-sensitive (EPL PG p. 103). The preview cannot open printer memory; the validator flags the line as a stored-form command.

Engine status: Parsed, not rendered

The engine recognises the command and skips it: it is a DEVICE setting and does not change the image on the media. Your label still parses cleanly.

Syntax

FR<"FORMNAME">

Parameters

ParameterMeaning
"FORMNAME"Name of a stored form in double quotes; names are case-sensitive

Common mistake

Changing the case of the name: form names are case-sensitive, so FR"form1" does not find a form stored with FS"FORM1".
