| Parameter | Meaning |
|---|---|
x,y | Top-left start of the text in dots, shifted by any R reference point |
rot | Rotation code 0–3 in clockwise quarter turns: 0 none, 1 = 90°, 2 = 180°, 3 = 270° |
font | Built-in font 1–5; the preview draws any other number with font 3 and warns |
hm | Horizontal multiplier; accepted but not applied by the Labelixa preview |
vm | Vertical multiplier; the font height is multiplied by it |
N/R | N prints normal text, R prints it reversed: white on black |
"text" | The data in double quotes; a comma inside the quotes stays part of the text |
Writing the rotation in degrees: EPL uses codes 0–3, so A50,50,90,4,1,1,N,"HELLO" is invalid — the validator flags it and the preview draws the text unrotated.
