Native means the printer's own language. Emulation means a separate, manufacturer-documented mode that accepts another vendor's language — useful, but not the same thing.

This model accepts ZPL, EPL, DPL, IPL through a manufacturer-documented emulation mode. Emulations are generally good, but they are a separate mode: coverage and edge-case behaviour can differ from the native language, and no vendor promises byte-identical output. Test the specific label you intend to print.
SBPL is the printer's own language here, so jobs written for it run without a translation layer — the closest thing to a predictable result.
This body ships in more than one resolution (203/305/609 dpi). ZPL coordinates are in dots, so a label designed for one resolution comes out at a different physical size on another — check which unit you actually have before sending production jobs.
Anything positioned beyond 104 mm of print width will not appear on the label; the compatibility checker flags this for the ZPL job you paste.
