ZPL6002 — Barcode runs past the right edge

The Code 128 or EAN-13 barcode starts inside the label but is wider than the space left: its width is the encoded symbol (for Code 128: start, data, check digit and stop; for EAN-13: 95 modules) times the ^BY module. The bars past ^PW (or the label width) are not printed, and a cut barcode does not scan.

Finding: ZPL6002 · line 1:17 — ^BC barcode runs from x=420 to x=1119 — past the right edge of the label (812 dots); the bars beyond the edge will not print

How to fix it

Move the barcode left, shorten the data, or lower ^BY only if the bars stay wide enough for your scanner (1-dot bars often fail). The example fits by starting at x=40.
