Printer languages

Native means the printer's own language. Emulation means a separate, manufacturer-documented mode that accepts another vendor's language — useful, but not the same thing.

What this means in practice

CPCL, ZPL, EPL is the printer's own language here, so jobs written for it run without a translation layer — the closest thing to a predictable result.

This body ships in a single resolution (203 dpi), which removes one class of surprise: a label written for it always renders at the same physical size, and a design made for a 300 dpi printer will come out roughly twice as large here.

Mobile printers have a narrower print head than desktop and industrial bodies, so a four-inch design will be cropped rather than scaled down.

Anything positioned beyond 104 mm of print width will not appear on the label; the compatibility checker flags this for the ZPL job you paste.
