Native means the printer's own language. Emulation means a separate, manufacturer-documented mode that accepts another vendor's language — useful, but not the same thing.
| Language | Type | Evidence |
|---|---|---|
| ZPL | Documented emulation ZSim2 — the data sheet writes 'ZPL-II' in parentheses on the 'Printer Command Languages' row; no coverage list (the ZSIM Command Reference is access-restricted on the vendor's document store, measured) | VENDOR_EMULATION_DOCUMENTATION Source · 2026-09-23 |
| DPL | Documented emulation DSim — the data sheet says 'DSim (DPL)' | VENDOR_EMULATION_DOCUMENTATION Source · 2026-09-23 |
| EPL | Documented emulation ESim — the data sheet says 'ESim (EPL)' | VENDOR_EMULATION_DOCUMENTATION Source · 2026-09-23 |
This model accepts ZPL, DPL, EPL through a manufacturer-documented emulation mode. Emulations are generally good, but they are a separate mode: coverage and edge-case behaviour can differ from the native language, and no vendor promises byte-identical output. Test the specific label you intend to print.
This body ships in more than one resolution (203/300 dpi). ZPL coordinates are in dots, so a label designed for one resolution comes out at a different physical size on another — check which unit you actually have before sending production jobs.
Anything positioned beyond 104 mm of print width will not appear on the label; the compatibility checker flags this for the ZPL job you paste.
