Printing Trendyol and HepsiJet ZPL shipping labels

If you sell on Trendyol or ship with HepsiJet through their
APIs, the shipping label does not arrive as a PDF you can open and print.
It arrives as ZPL — the command language of Zebra-class thermal printers.
A browser or an office printer prints that as lines of text. This page
shows which calls return ZPL, how to check the label before it is printed,
and the ways to get it onto a thermal printer.
Which calls return ZPL
Read on 2026-10-31 from the providers' own developer documentation;
field names change between API versions, so check the current reference
before you build on them.
Trendyol common label. The label is requested with
createCommonLabel and fetched with getCommonLabel;
the response carries "format": "ZPL". Trendyol states that
only the ZPL format is available for now, for TEX and Aras Kargo under
the Trendyol paid cargo model.
HepsiJet.GET
/delivery/generateZplBarcode/{barcode}/{totalParcel} returns the
label in the zplBarcode field, a string that starts with
^XA and ends with ^XZ. For a multi-parcel
shipment the second path part is the total parcel count.
Other Turkish carriers with a ZPL label
Read on 2026-10-31 from each carrier's own web service description
(WSDL) or developer repository. These services are opened per customer
account, so your account may need the label feature enabled:
Yurtiçi Kargo:createShipmentWithDelivery
returns a docCargoZpl label per parcel.
Aras Kargo (direct contract):GetBarcode
returns ZebraZpl next to EPL and PDF fields.
UPS Türkiye: the local web service has
CreateShipment_Type3_ZPL, which returns
ZplResult.
Kolay Gelsin and Sendeo: the shared web service
returns BarcodeZpl when the label type is ZPL.
PTT Kargo's etiketGetir returns EPL, not ZPL; Labelixa
previews EPL too, but it prints only on printers that understand EPL. We
list a carrier here only after reading its documentation.
Check the label before it burns media
Save the ZPL to a file first and look at it: paste it into the
ZPL preview. The preview shows whether the
label fits the media and whether the barcodes decode. Two things go wrong
most often:
Density. The ZPL is written in dots for one print
density. A label made for 203 dpi prints at about two thirds of its size
on a 300 dpi printer. The
size and DPI analyzer tells you
which density the file assumes.
Media size. Carrier labels are usually 100×100 mm or
100×150 mm. On narrower rolls the right edge is cut off.
Do not edit the carrier's barcode or routing data: the parcel must stay
scannable in the carrier's network. Print your own information on a
separate label.
USB printer, from the cloud. The Labelixa DirectPrint

From a browser. A browser cannot send raw commands on

Which printers
Zebra printers read ZPL natively. Many sellers in Turkey use lower-cost
printers such as the Xprinter XP-470B; some of these models advertise ZPL
or TSPL emulation. We have not measured those models: print one test
label and compare it with the preview before you rely on them.

Why does my Trendyol label print as text?
Trendyol's common label is ZPL, not a PDF. An office printer or a browser prints ZPL as text; send it raw to a Zebra-class thermal printer instead.
Can I get the Trendyol common label as a PDF?
Trendyol's documentation says only the ZPL format is available for now for the common label. Preview it as an image with a ZPL viewer, or print it on a thermal printer.
